Chiefs vs. Bills climate replace: Severe climate delays ‘Sunday Night Football’ matchup

Approaching extreme climate delayed the beginning of the second half of the “Sunday Night Football” matchup between the Bills and Chiefs at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City, Mo.

Spectators have been informed to hunt shelter within the stadium concourses and keep away from the weather.

An official announcement of the delay was made at 10:19 p.m. ET.

According to the NBC broadcast, the earliest the sport would resume was 10:30 p.m. ET, though no official willpower had been made.

Buffalo led 24-13 at halftime — its 14th consecutive recreation with a halftime lead, an NFL report. The Bills will obtain the second-half kickoff.

The beginning quarterbacks — Josh Allen for Buffalo and Patrick Mahomes for Kansas City — are the sport’s main rushers. Mecole Hardman (4 catches, 48 yards) and Dawson Knox (two catches, 76 yards, one landing) are the main receivers for the Chiefs and Bills, respectively, within the rematch of final season’s AFC championship recreation.

This is the second recreation in as many weeks to be delayed by inclement climate. Lightning within the Los Angeles space delayed the beginning of the Chargers-Raiders “Monday Night Football” showdown.
