A Fox News phase criticized former Vice President Mike Pence on Sunday after he referred to the January 6 assault on the U.S. Capitol as merely “sooner or later in January.”
Pence made the remarks Monday on Sean Hannity’s Fox News program nevertheless it took nearly every week for anybody on the community to criticize the feedback.
“Saying ‘sooner or later in January’ is form of like calling 9/11 sooner or later in September,” Fox News host Howard Kurtz famous on Sunday. “It was a fairly tragic day!”
Kurtz went on to ask Fox News contributor Mara Liasson if she agreed with Pence’s assertion that the media is specializing in Jan. 6 to distract from President Joe Biden’s challenges.
“No!” Liasson replied. “I feel there was super protection of Joe Biden’s appreciable woes. I feel the media has been like a canine with a bone on that.”
“The different factor that Mike Pence stated which I feel it is completely false is to say that by specializing in January 6, essentially the most violent revolt in opposition to the Capitol in over 100 years, someway is denigrating the 74 million individuals who voted for Donald Trump,” she added. “That’s simply utterly false.”
“Right,” Kurtz agreed. “That had utterly nothing to do with it.”
