Lakhimpur Kheri: Ashish Mishra arrested after 12 hours of questioning

Ashish Mishra, son of union minister of state Ajay Mishra and accused for homicide within the killing of 4 farmers in Lakhimpur Kheri on Sunday was arrested on Saturday after near 12 hours of questioning.

Speaking to media reporters in Lakhimpur Kheri, Deputy inspector General Upendra Agarwal mentioned Mishra was taken into custody on the grounds of being “non-cooperative” and “evasive” in his replies throughout the questioning. He will now be produced earlier than the court docket, he mentioned.
