Too Much Sex Scenes, ‘Smash’ TV Series Criticized

However, the musical drama that aired in the United States was criticized for being too obscene and only indulgence in sex. The appearance of this series excerpts immediately makes people compare it to a successful television musical drama, Glee. However, many people consider Smash too far when compared with Glee. This is because the series is believed to only be selling nudity, and sex. Smash rejects producer’s program compared to Glee. According to him, the target audience and theme Smash is much more mature than Glee.

“I do not think we show it every day would be like Glee. But we feel grateful to Glee for having opened the door for this series,” says Craig Zadan, one of the executive producer of Smash as quoted Dailymail, Monday (06/02/2012).
